About Us

Sarah Markee-Hicks is an Independent Doula and trained Hairdresser and Beautician married with 3 children. As well as her own experience with her children she has attended 19 births through friends prior to becoming a doula and has been privileged to have delivered one of them. She has had many years of hands-on experience helping these women to achieve natural births and practical help with breastfeeding.

Sarah has run many courses training new Doulas and have been on the Bridge Pregnancy Crisis Course. Doula Birthing Services have also had the privilege of being on the BBC documentary for modern day services.

Our doulas are members of the Independent Doula Association, Doula UK, and have a passion for helping pregnant women and new mothers.
